ALASKA HALLOWEEN DAY FIVE

HAPPY HALLOWEEN, it was pretty uneventful. One trick or treater all night and Lil Cadence as a Strawberry. We had a fun time just watching her crawl around. That 's what makes being a Grandma fun. Must be too cold to walk around in Anchorage for a free piece of candy. Just checked and it is a balmy 16 above tonight. Kristy is on the mend and wont sit still, she cleaned floors today and took a shower wrapped up in suran warp. Both are hard work if you can hardly walk.
I am leaving tomorrow night (Sun really) at 2:30 am, right after the time changes. So what time do I need to be at the airport to be there two hours ahead?? First person to answer wins a prize. The other question is who is going to take me to the airport. Kristy can drive (maybe) but she cant carry Cadence out of the car when she gets back home and its too cold to sleep in the garage all night . It will all work out but those are the issues at hand, that and making it through one more night waking up every couple hours to hold or feed lil one. I will miss the hand looking to hold mine in the dark of the night or reaching to feel my face. The big smile first thing in the morning. Seeing her wave for the first time and learn to eat new foods with gusto. BYE CADENCE, see you at Christmas time. Bye Kristy, hope you heal fast and can run your Iron Man race in Aug.
Sure wished you still lived in Hawaii.
Love, Grandma
